Testing beauty and skincare products on animals like bunnies and beagles causes unnecessary suffering and there's a growing movement of consumers looking for cruelty free products.
Because beauty brands do not need to disclose if they test on animals, it’s hard to know when purchasing if beauty products are actually cruelty free or not. If a brand sells its beauty products to China, they are required to submit to animal testing. In the U.S. there are no standardized FDA guidelines for cruelty free labeling, while in Europe animal testing for beauty products has been banned.
