CANDLE CARE + SAFETY TIPS

• Place the candle on a heat-resistant dish or vessel to catch any melted wax. Do not place it directly on a table or shelf. For a clean, even burn, trim the cotton wick to ¼-inch before every use. During the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface (takes approximately 2-4 hours).
• Do not burn for more than four hours at a time. Never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, direct airflow (vents, fans, open windows), and high-traffic areas.
• To extinguish, use a candle snuffer or or gently dip the wick into melted wax, then straighten it upright. You can also use a metal skewer or tweezers to push the lit wick into the melted wax. Avoid blowing out the flame or using water to help reduce the risk of splatter or smoldering debris.
