Making Eco Changes - Plus, Our Top 10 Eco Beauty + Lifestyle Products!

“Preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known.” —Carl Sagan

Happy Earth Day! Check out some of the ways our Love Goodly team is incorporating more eco-friendly practices to everyday life. Whether you're new to the eco lifestyle or looking for more ideas, we hope this sparks some inspiration.

Animal agriculture is one of the top emitters of global greenhouse gases and causes of deforestation. And, one of the fastest ways to help combat climate change is making the switch to vegan plant-based meals!

If you're new to eating vegan, start with selecting a couple of days in a week (for example, Meatless Mondays!) and then increase to 1+ months of incorporating vegan plant-based foods into your meal planning!

Speaking of vegan food, if you're able to and have a green thumb, how awesome would it be to start your own home garden?! Gardening can be extremely beneficial to the environment: we're organically improving and cleaning the air and the soil quality while adding something to the earth.

If you don't have space or if you want to start off small, don't worry - you can start with maintaining an indoor herb garden: basil, mint, rosemary, and thyme are our favorites!

Billions of pounds of pollution end up in our oceans each year, so while cleanups cannot completely get rid of all of the waste, it can help increase awareness about pollution and everyone can learn about different ways to protect it.

So when your schedule is free and you'd like to spend a little time outdoors while helping Mother Nature, search and join your local beach or park cleanup, grab that reusable (or recyclable!) bag, and let's get to cleaning!

Yes, you can make a difference with your purchases! Support beauty and lifestyle brands that are making every effort to be more conscious about the environment through their businesses practices.

At Love Goodly, we're taking as many steps to curate brands that do just that! Here are our top 10 eco-friendly products - both team and customer favorites:
