10 Things You Didn't Know About Hurraw!

We here at LOVE GOODLY have a problem - a lip balm problem. This is all thanks to to our friends at Hurraw! We're just going to start out by saying if you haven't tried one of these balms you are seriously missing out (hint hint).

What was the inspiration behind Hurraw!?
It sounds expected... but our intention was only ever to make super high qual vegan lip balm. We're still working on that.
Why did you choose to create an eco-conscious brand?
What other way is there?
What does it mean to live life at the helm of such an authentic brand?
All encompassing. manufacturing consumes every minute of every day! but fulfilling and grateful
How has Hurraw! changed your life?
It's confirming that we can make incremental positive change.
What advice would you give to someone reading this, who is inspired by your story and wanting to start his/her own eco-friendly company?
If you want to make/do/be something, do it with the best intentions and it will be successful. Don't rush. Focus. Be patient. Never compromise quality. Always respect your customer. If it ever becomes about profits, stop. If you're making lots of money, you're doing it wrong.
How important is it for a company to give back to the community?
If you can't use your influence, skills and knowledge to try and make positive change then why are you even getting up in the morning?
What is your daily routine (or maybe first thing you do in the morning)?
cuddle dogs. feed dogs. feed chickens. feed squirrel. feed birds. water and harvest garden (or shovel snow). make tea. ride bike. make balm. repeat.
What can you always find in your purse / wallet?
I carry a beat up Reisenthel collapsable market basket which will have to be pried from my hands one day ;) In it is the latest batch(es) of Hurraw for obsessive quality checks, a "what remains is future" pin from Patti Smith and sometimes my cell phone, if i can find it.
Who is your lifestyle icon?
Anyone looking up instead of down ;) ...anyonewith a kick ass attitude that is actively helping animals or other beings.
